About

Dmitry Vilkin is a street and portrait photographer based in Tel Aviv.

Born in 1962 in Saint Petersburg, he immigrated to Israel in 1990. His work centres on landscape and portraiture, shot primarily on 35mm film — a street practice built on availability, quickness, and an eye for the situation as it unfolds.

His photographs have been published in magazines and shown in group exhibitions in Israel and abroad since 1991, including at the Museum of Israeli Art in Ramat Gan and the Bauhaus Center in Tel Aviv. He was awarded the Silver Medal at the 1st International Salon of Photography in Rishon LeZion.
